Conspiracy: the Game
In the world of fake news and nonsense, conspiracy theories are running rampant. Lizard People live and control Hollywood. Aliens are putting chemicals in our water systems to make us stupid. Pizza parlors are the root of all evil. Tupac Is still alive. Illuminati and the Nazis have a moon base. The list is endless. So, how better to educate the public, then, by having them be the one who gets to make all the decisions to control the world, and impose their own disturbing views on the unaware human populace. This idea will educate people about how power is abused in our world and hopefully reach those who will one day be in a position to lead our world in a better way that is not dependent on personal interest or gain.

Back: a journey back to the present
VR is a new way of experiencing stories. Games and movies can be very personal experiences, but with virtual reality every experience is personal, which creates a new way of conveying a message entirely. My deep passion for storytelling, and passion for cutting edge technology, has lead me to develop various stories that, I feel, would not only provide entertainment to specific audiences and markets, but would highlight a different aspect of the human experience, as well as, the power and abilities of this new communication platform.
The fast growth rate of technology is due to the huge innovations that have occurred this past century. The worlds that were depicted in science fiction are becoming a reality. My VR Experience, Gameified, asks the questions: What would life be like if the only thing that you had to focus on was being the best version of your self. Because technology has reached a point where it doesn’t need to progress any further, and everything you need to survive is provided...as long as you do what the society dictates is best.
This question will be answered in this science fiction epic.
Pirates! was a game that was made for the commodore 64 and the Apple II back in 1987, and then, remade, again, in 2004, for Windows. Most recently, it was made for mobile devices in 2008. This game has always been a favourite of mine, because it gave players an experience of being a privater in the golden age of pirating. The game was directed at all audiences, and was quite successful, however, I've always wanted to recreate this game with modern technology, and create an equal balanced version of both reality, and adventure.
Blizzards game, Warcraft, has been an extremely successful game series. Before it was the now iconic MMORPG, it was a real-time strategy game. Some of my greatest gaming moments were, in 6th grade, having LAN parties at my house, with massive battles. After putting in so many hours, I decided to expand upon the game, and design the next version on my own. I have added 4 new races, all with buildings, heroes, and back-stories. Now, with virtual reality, I've added a new method to help create a new mystical battle experience. My dream would be to be able to make the 6th grade version of my self very happy, by making those ideas, I had so long ago, a reality.
Spending a day at a winery is always a fantastic experience. The whole environment, the bliss nature of the event, and the challenging of taste buds, provides some of the reasons why it is such a successful industry. But, I've written a Thriller/Horror story about a not so happy winery experience. I want to do to wineries what Jaws did to beaches. And now, using VR, and taking influences from the Shining, Wilson's Heart, and the MYST series I can create a truly unique and scary experience.

Music and Rhythm; some people have it, others don’t. Or, at least that is what some people believe. Perhaps those people haven’t ever played with a modern Music Production Application, like Propellerhead's Figure or Korg Gadget. The entire process, almost instantaneously, makes live composition of songs a real possibility. Modern Dj's, as well as, classical DJ's, regularly have mixing battles, similar to rap battles, or guitar battles. But, with this new technology, and the ability to have a recording studio in your pocket, the creation of an Application, or game, that puts two producers in competition, could be a successful endeavour. Additionally, they would be given turns to write songs together, and then, compete with their playing skills and styles, while making a sweet song at the same time, or battle it out in-front of a audience online.
Time Travel has always been a fascinating subject for me. I have developed a story where a scientist develops a time traveling device, goes back in time, and then, the machine breaks, requiring repair. The scientist must use materials that he finds in his current world to rebuild the device, and survive the elements to get back. This could be made in conjunction with the Aristotle Project.
